Emeralds Mathematically Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 26th , 1967 Ron Roseboro said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Seattle Emeralds after they missed the Major League Baseball playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 12th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1955. In total, the Emeralds have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 22-year history. |
