Long Crafts 3-0 Shutout Saturday, August 26th , 1967 Roger Long kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Pittsburgh Industrials were all smiles after winning 3-0 against the Los Angeles Blockbusters at Blockbuster Stadium today. The right-handed Long gave up no runs in his start, permitted 3 hits and had 1 strikeout. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Long said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
