Philadelphia, Denver Agree to Swap Sunday, July 31st , 1977 Philadelphia and Denver have made a swap. Players involved in the transaction are the Quakers 33-year old RHP Ralph Weintraub and the Burros $1 in cash. Philadelphia will retain a portion of Weintraub's remaining contract. Weintraub's record this year is 8-and-8 with no saves and a 4.62 ERA. He has given up 102 hits in 101.1 innings with 51 strikeouts. |
