Philadelphia, Twin Cities Execute Trade

The Philadelphia Quakers have finalized a deal that will send 27-year old LHP Bob Freeland and $65,000 in cash to Twin Cities for a 2nd round draft pick. Minor details still need to be worked out before the trade becomes official, but the players involved are expected to be with their new clubs soon.
This season, Freeland has fashioned a 8-8 mark and 3.46 ERA in 158.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .247 against him and he has logged 106 strikeouts.
