Industrials Are Champs of National Baseball League Eastern Division Thursday, September 14th , 1967 Members of the Pittsburgh Industrials say winning the National Baseball League Eastern Division title is special, but ultimately they will only be remembered with a championship season. "We want to put ourselves in the history books and win the World Series," said starting pitcher Dennis Visco. "We all believe it can happen, it's just a matter of putting in the hard work and getting the breaks." It's the 13th division win for the club and they will be vying for their 8th World Series win. "To see the team get here, it makes you believe in yourself and all the systems you've put in place," said manager Vincent Wicker. |
