Moore Shackles Milwaukee Tuesday, August 9th , 1977 Philadelphia Quakers starter Phil Moore really did a number on the Milwaukee Dairymen, shutting them out, 15-0, on 3 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 3 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Moore."
