Crumm Struts Stuff in Win Over Baltimore
Sunday, July 22nd , 1973
Toronto's Dan Crumm brought his best stuff to Seton Hill Stadium, shutting down and shutting out the Baltimore Lords, 2-0. He racked up 5 strikeouts, surrendered 6 hits, and issued 4 walks on his way to the victory.
"We barely made him work at all," Baltimore manager Steve Read said later. "Toronto could probably pitch him again tomorrow if they wanted."
This year, Crumm has a 8-4 record with a 2.28 ERA.
