Detroit Wolverines pitcher Larry Black really got it done at Wolverine Field in a 5-0 shutout victory over the Montreal Habitants, shutting them down on 6 hits.
"It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Black said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them."
The 31-year-old issued 1 walk and had 6 strikeouts in the Wolverines win.
