St. Louis's Osterhage Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, August 25th , 1975 When it came to hitting the baseball, Ken Osterhage had few peers in the National Baseball League this past week. The talented center fielder for St. Louis tagged opposing pitchers for a .483 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 14 hits in 29 at-bats, 2 homers, 8 runs scored and 10 RBIs. So far this season, Osterhage has put up a .299 batting average with 141 hits, 13 home runs and 61 RBIs. |
