Boston Hurler Tops in Royal Ricketts Award Voting Friday, October 20th , 1967 Bob Schar of the Boston Terriers outdid his pitching peers this year and has been honored with the 1967 American Baseball League Royal Ricketts Award. During his remarkable year Schar posted a 21-8 record in 33 starts. In 268.2 innings he yielded 211 hits and 55 walks while striking out 236 and compiling a fine 1.88 ERA. Dario Perez of the Dallas Wranglers finished second in voting, while Ken Morrison of the Dallas Wranglers finished third. |
