Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Baltimore Wednesday, September 1st , 1971 The Baltimore Lords will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 1971 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Baltimore was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 10th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1961. In total, the Lords have missed the playoffs 86 times in their 90-year history. |
