Taylor Day-to-Day with Injury Tuesday, September 27th , 1977 Kansas City team officials speculated whether star first baseman Chris Taylor would be scratched from today's ballgame after he suffered a sore knee in yesterday's matchup with the Pittsburgh Industrials. Taylor denied reports that he would miss a lot of time, but added that he would not risk further injury by playing. Taylor is currently batting .337 with 44 home runs and 118 RBIs. |
