Habitants Hurler Reaches Milestone Thursday, September 9th , 1971 Montreal ace Bob Schar solidified his place in league history with his 200th career victory today at Dominion Field. Schar and the Habitants bested Toronto 5-3. He checked the Hurons on 8 hits in 9 innings and finished the day with 6 strikeouts and no walks. "I've worked hard for this day," Schar said. "Sometimes I didn't think it would happen. Most of the time it seemed so far off. Now it's here. It's like a dream!" In his career, Schar has totaled 200 victories and 124 defeats with a 3.08 ERA.
