Playoffs? No Chance for Los Angeles Saturday, September 11th , 1971 Any faint hope of playoff contention the Los Angeles Blockbusters might have had is now a thing of the past -- the Blockbusters was mathematically eliminated from postseason consideration today. Los Angeles last appeared in the postseason in 1962. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 25 times in their 26-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Blockbusters have only made the playoffs once. |
