Heath Befuddles Los Angeles in 7-0 San Diego Win
Monday, September 3rd , 1973
It was a quiet day for the Los Angeles Blockbusters at Blockbuster Stadium -- a little too quiet. San Diego Captains starter Ray Heath silenced the Blockbusters, holding them to 7 hits and keeping them scoreless in a complete-game 7-0 win.
"It was frustrating against Heath today," Los Angeles manager John Trausch said.
The San Diego starting pitcher walked 1 and allowed 7 hits while fanning 6.
This season, Heath has fanned 166 in 263.2 innings and collected a 18-6 record with a 2.53 ERA.
