Bulls Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, September 9th , 1972 Even the most die-hard fans of the Kansas City Bulls will likely now start focusing on next year. The team was today mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "We're disappointed," said Bulls left fielder Chris Taylor. "Not just for ourselves, but also for the fans that stick with us every year." This is the club's 6th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1966. In total, the Bulls have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 18-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Bulls have made the playoffs 4 times. |
