Hit Streak for Isenbarger Reaches 20 Friday, August 30th , 1974 Rob Isenbarger's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 2-for-5 in his team's 7-3 triumph over the San Diego Captains at San Diego Sporting Complex. The 26-year-old second baseman has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Industrials. Rob Isenbarger flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. So far this season, Isenbarger has recorded a .298 batting average with 152 hits, 11 home runs, 52 RBIs, 74 runs scored and a .346 OBP. |
