Phillips Agrees to Terms with Bulls

A contract extension between Danny Phillips and Kansas City was reached earlier today.

Phillips will continue to play for the Bulls and will pocket $752,000 over the next 2 years. The Bulls said the extension "shows our level of confidence in him and in the type of player and person he is."

In 889 career games Phillips is hitting at a .278 pace with 936 hits with 177 doubles, 29 triples and 68 homers while scoring 436 runs and racking up 339 RBIs. He logged 265 walks and owns a .334 on-base percentage.
