San Diego and Peters Agree on Extension Tuesday, October 15th , 1974 Earl Peters and San Diego officials have reached an agreement keeping the 30-year-old catcher around another 4 years. Though terms were not confirmed, insiders tell BNN that Peters re-signed for $472,000 per year. For the season, Peters has produced 100 hits in 456 at-bats for a .219 average with 29 home runs and gotten on base at a .349 clip. |
