Denver Sends McKoy to Baltimore Monday, October 28th , 1974 According to BNN there were mixed emotions by the players involved in the trade between the Denver Burros and the Baltimore Lords. As part of the deal, the Burros swapped 22-year old CF Kent Pugh and 21-year old RHP Hal McKoy to the Lords getting 18-year old 2B Bob Jennings in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team. |
