Saturday, May 21st , 1960
Jim Fulkerson of the New York Knickerbockers and Roger Long of the Pittsburgh Industrials will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Knickerbockers-Industrials game at Knickerbocker Stadium.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Fulkerson and Long will begin serving them soon.

This year Fulkerson has hit at a .257 pace and produced 13 RBIs, 1 home run and scored 17 runs.

So far this year Long has made 7 starts, tossed 50 innings, struck out 18 batters and walked 27. His record is 2-2 with a 4.68 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .277 batting average.
