SP Schar Extends Stay with Montreal Wednesday, March 13th , 1974 Bob Schar inked a deal that will keep the seasoned veteran on the Habitants roster another 3 years. Earlier today team personnel announced that the 35-year-old had settled on a $550,000-a-year deal to play at LaSalle Stadium. It's no secret Schar is getting older, but he could still contribute a lot to the franchise. Schar's won-lost record is 229 wins and 143 losses with a 3.01 ERA and opposing hitters have compiled a .236 batting average against him. |
