Lords Not Competitive in 11-0 Loss to Detroit Tuesday, July 8th , 1958 Starter Clay Gillespie was in charge the whole game in the Detroit Wolverines victory over the Baltimore Lords today. In a superb performance, Gillespie blanked Baltimore 11-0, yielding 5 hits while registering 1 strikeout and 2 walks. "That was a fun one," the 32-year-old said later.
