"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Gems skipper in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Placeholder finished the game with 4 strikeouts and 4 walks in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," Decatur manager said. "Double A made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively." |
