Amarillo Draws Blanks Against Juarez Wednesday, July 25th , 1962 Ramon Juarez of the San Antonio Defenders fashioned a fine 2-0 victory over the Amarillo Yellers. Juarez held the Yellers to 3 hits with 1 walk and 10 strikeouts in a strong outing. "Everything felt right today," he said. On the season Juarez has compiled a 11-5 mark with a 2.54 ERA in 20 starts. In pitching 163 innings he has 151 strikeouts and 91 walks while limiting the opposition to a .188 batting average. |
