Lone Star Baseball League's Best Batter Announced

A hot-hitting week got Clyde Barry the Lone Star Baseball League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers.
The Tulsa catcher slammed them for a .417 average, 10 hits in 24 at-bats, no home runs, 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs.
In the postgame press conference, Barry shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that."
A look at his current stats shows Barry with a .302 average, 4 home runs, 46 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has played in 83 games.
