Nashville Helpless Against Wilson, Lose 4-0

Jerry Wilson of the Macon Peaches was cool and collected on the mound, leading his club to a shutout victory over the Nashville Volunteers, 4-0.
"He was mixing his pitches real well and keeping his composure on the mound," Macon manager said later. "When Jerry does that, good things happen."
The right-hander had 7 strikeouts, 1 walk and allowed 6 hits in the win.
This season Wilson has crafted a 14-5 mark with a 1.90 ERA in 199.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .208 against him and he has 146 strikeouts.
