Billings Starter Named BSL's Top Pitcher Saturday, September 1st , 1962 August was a magical month for Rookie Placeholder of Billings. He held the Big Sky Baseball League hitters spellbound, conjuring up a 2-1 mark and a 3.12 ERA. Placeholder also chalked up 6 starts, 34.2 innings and 16 strikeouts. For this outstanding performance he was rewarded with the Pitcher of the Month trophy. Lifetime Placeholder has a 8-4 won-lost record with a 2.56 ERA. |
