Mustangs Star Wins Pitcher of the Year Award Wednesday, September 5th , 1962 Roger Pochatko had a terrific 1962 season in the Big Sky Baseball League. The Billings pitching stalwart received the most votes and has been proclaimed this year's Pitcher of the Year Award winner.
The Mustangs ace starred with an impressive 11-3 record. In 19 starts, he gave up 101 base hits and struck out 111 in 127.2 innings with a 2.96 ERA. Opposing teams hit .218 against him.
