IBL's Best Batter Announced Sunday, July 1st , 1962 For a rookie just breaking in, Max Kesic certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the IBL Batter of the Month award for June. The 19-year-old left fielder for the Dubuque Dairymen hit .291 with 9 home runs, 27 RBIs and 14 runs scored. Kesic is hitting .274 this year with 16 home runs, 40 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 61 hits in 223 at-bats, 22 walks and a .348 on-base percentage. Kesic has played in 59 games. |
