Player of the Week: Kesic of the Dairymen Monday, July 16th , 1962 Max Kesic of the Dubuque Dairymen had a super week and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Iowa Baseball League. The 19-year-old left fielder put up a .379 average with a .400 on-base percentage, racking up 11 hits in 29 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Kesic is currently batting .289 with 19 home runs and 49 RBIs. |
