The Traders broke with tradition and wore gold-colored uniforms at home, the first non-white home outfits seen in the league since 1921.

The Wolverines added gold trim to their now-familiar maroon, completing the combination that has appeared on all of Detroit’s subsequent uniform designs.

The Quakers (temporarily) dropped blue from the uniforms, and subsequently unveiled the distinctive script “Q” and “Quakers” logos that would become an integral part of their branding.
