| The Traders had worn brown since 1910 and gold since 1929, but this year they dropped both in favor of the colors of the city’s flag—bright red and sky blue. They kept the same uniform design but the blue replaced the gold and the red replaced the brown. The new color scheme proved very popular with Chicago locals, and the Traders remained the only team in the league wearing colored uniforms at home. |
