The Chicago Traders relied on the hitting of catcher Billy Hall to get by the Philadelphia Quakers, 15-4, in Game 2 of the League Championship Series today. For the game, Hall was 5-6 with a home run, a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5. The clubs are now tied, 1-1.

Hall's nice game included a clutch 2-run single in the bottom of the first.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Hall told the Chicago Gazette.

Game 3 is set to be played Friday, October 8th, 1948 at Penn's Landing Park. The scheduled starters for the game are Dave Keen for Chicago and Eddie Myers for Philadelphia.
