Industrials Prevail, as League Championship Series Goes to the Wire
The joy and relief on the faces of the Pittsburgh Industrials players was obvious as they celebrated their League Championship Series win over the Chicago Traders.

"In a series like this, the smallest thing can make the difference in how it turns out," said Pittsburgh first baseman Herman Carter, shortly after the 7-5 win that clinched the series 4-3. "We're happy we did what it takes to get it done."

The team is now off to the World Series.

Carter won series MVP honors on the strength of his .483 batting average during the series. He also had a .543 on-base percentage and 1 home runs, drove in 11 RBI and scored 8 runs.

The Pittsburgh Industrials will play against the Boston Terriers in the next round. Boston won their series against the Seattle Emeralds 4 games to 0. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
