Los Angeles Win Evens
Series at 1 |
The Los
Angeles Pobladores knotted up the League
Championship Series at Seton Hill Stadium today,
thanks in large part to starter Jim
Meier. Meier quieted the Baltimore
Lords, enabling Los Angeles to grab the 3-0
win and move into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.
The Lords had trouble solving Meier, who surrendered
no earned runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
Meier told the Los Angeles News: "I was born for the
big stage."
The next game is set to be played Friday at San
Vicente Park. The scheduled starters for the game
are Ben
Flowers for Baltimore and Angel
Pierce for Los Angeles.
