Detroit Takes League Championship Series in Deciding Game
The American Circuits fans were certainly not disappointed with this National Baseball League League Championship Series.

The two teams were evenly matched and the series went to the final game, with the Detroit Wolverines prevailing over the Buffalo Beavers to advance to the World Series.

Detroit won the final game by a score of 7-4 at Wolverine Field and that sealed the series 4-3.

"Things were tense in our clubhouse and dugout before and during this game, but we can let loose a bit now -- the hard work is over, for now," said second baseman Richie Dingman, who earned MVP honors.

For the series, Dingman hit .345 with a .375 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 2 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Detroit Wolverines will play against the Baltimore Lords in the next round. Baltimore won their series against the Los Angeles Pobladores 4 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
