Cincinnati Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in LCS
Irwin Frongillo pitched a gem to help the Cincinnati Packers escape with a tight 2-0 victory over the Cleveland Bobcats in a low-scoring League Championship Series contest today. The right-handed Frongillo threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball in the win, just enough for the Packers on a day when their offense dried up. Cincinnati now leads the best-of-7 series 2-1.

The Bobcats had trouble solving Frongillo, who surrendered no runs on 1 hit over 8 innings.

"Feels good to get the job done," Frongillo said after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Roman Arena in Cincinnati.
