Cleveland Takes 2-1 Lead in World Series
|
Starter George Bodart was sensational for the Cleveland Bobcats in his team's 6-1 triumph over the Toronto Hurons in Game 3 of the World Series today. Bodart pitched well, but Cleveland picked up the win to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
Bodart went the distance for Cleveland. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1.
"I thought we played a nice game," Bodart told the Cleveland Citizen. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dominion Field in Toronto.
