Locke Blasts Bobcats, Hurons Take Game 5, 10-7
Already down in the World Series, the Toronto Hurons put on their best show, beating the Cleveland Bobcats by a final score of 10-7 today. Grammercy Locke was special. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Toronto now trails Cleveland 3-2 in the best-of-7 affair.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Locke hit a cutter from Van Ciardullo for a 3-run home run. The Hurons, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Every team in baseball loses," Bobcats manager Daniel Mays said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."

Game 6 is scheduled for Friday at Lakefront Stadium in Cleveland.
