Wolverines Heading to League Championship Series
Detroit Wolverines fans are rejoicing after a 3-1 win at Wolverine Field has propelled the club to a 4-2 Divisional Series victory over the San Francisco Seagulls.

With the win, the club advanced on to the League Championship Series.

"Total team effort, that's the only way we get it done in this one," said Detroit left fielder Jerry Plumley, who was named series MVP.

The Detroit Wolverines don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Boston Terriers - Dallas Wranglers series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
