Raucous Sam Houston Field Crowd Propels Drillers to 6-4 Victory; Series Tied at 2
San Francisco center fielder Jose Sosa pounded Houston Drillers pitchers at Sam Houston Field, but it was not enough to keep the Seagulls from falling, 6-4, in Game 4 of the Divisional Round. Sosa went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once, though he couldn't prevent the Seagulls from slipping into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

With two out in the bottom of the third, Lou Ward barreled up a curveball from Dennis Fulton. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Drillers in front, 6-0.

"It feels a lot better to be tied than to be behind, even if it is only one game," Houston manager Steven Palps said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Sam Houston Field in Houston.
