Blockbusters Fall Short, 2-1, at Chicago
|
Bobby Peters was locked and loaded, helping the Chicago Traders beat the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 2-1. Peters, now 6-3, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. The win gives Chicago a season record of 37-36.
John Sledd helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Traders.
