Fans watched the Los Angeles Blockbusters and the Milwaukee Dairymen fight to the finish.

Larry Mitchell, who is tied for 8th in the NBL with a 5.6 K/9 rate, had a strong outing for the Los Angeles Blockbusters against the Milwaukee Dairymen at Blockbuster Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Tom Benson wrapped it up, recording his 20th save.

Ernie Ronnebaum had a big 3-run home run for the Blockbusters in the bottom of the third inning. With Los Angeles leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a sinker from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Andy Campbell and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 10th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blockbusters ahead, 4-0.

"I went out and just tried to do my job," said Mitchell.

Los Angeles is 41-44 and Milwaukee, with the loss, 34-52.
