Dairymen Win Thriller, 8-7
Roberto Matallana made an impact in the 8-7 Milwaukee win over St. Louis. Matallana slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. Milwaukee reliever Bernie Kirk picked up the win, raising his record to 7-9. Alex Alonso was tagged with the loss. At 43-53, the Dairymen claim 6th place in the National Baseball League Western Division.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Milwaukee trailing 7-6, Matallana hit a sinker from Alex Alonso for a 2-run double. In the blink of an eye, the Dairymen had a walk-off win.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Matallana said.
