The St. Louis Explorers topped the Denver Burros, 3-1, in National Baseball League action at Corps of Discovery Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of St. Louis pitcher Dick Lott. Alex Alonso was credited with the save, his 20th in 24 tries.
