Eagles Earn 2-1 Home Win
|
Washington right-hander Mark Campbell helped his team edge Cincinnati by the score of 2-1. Campbell kept the opposing lineup in check. Richie Kingery was credited with the save, his 10th in 15 tries. After today's action, Washington sits at 54-73, while Cincinnati falls to 52-74.
Campbell had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth to put Washington in front, 2-0. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a sacrifice fly off Cincinnati pitcher Dave Pelton.
"I had everything working," said Campbell.
