The Los Angeles Pobladores handed the Toronto Hurons an extra-inning, 4-2 defeat at San Vicente Park. Second Baseman Manuel Castillo starred for Los Angeles. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Whistlestop Meadows picked up the win in relief. Larry Haddock took the loss for Toronto. After today's action, Los Angeles sits at 63-74, while Toronto falls to 62-76.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the 13th. With Los Angeles trailing 2-1, Castillo jumped on a fastball from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Larry Haddock and hit a 3-run home run to right-center. With one swing, the Pobladores had a walk-off win.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Castillo.
