Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Pittsburgh Industrials and Philadelphia Quakers.

Good production from first baseman Alex Robinson helped the Pittsburgh Industrials topple the Philadelphia Quakers, 5-3. Robinson went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Industrials. The Industrials have an impressive 100-51 record.

With Pittsburgh trailing 1-0 in the top of the third, Robinson hit a sinker from Mel Hartman for a 3-run home run. It was his 30th home run of the season and put the Industrials ahead, 3-1.

"I still think this team can play even better," Robinson told the Pittsburgh News.
