Visco Stars in 7-1 Pittsburgh Win
|
Washington had no answer for 1972 Royal Ricketts Award winner Dennis Visco. The Pittsburgh Industrials starter stymied Eagles hitters, helping the Industrials cruise to victory, 7-1. The win puts Pittsburgh at 9-9.
Visco ran roughshod over the Washington lineup. The left-hander allowed just 3 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 7. With the victory, he goes to 4-0 on the season.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Visco.
