Dairymen Use Late Score to Top Blockbusters, 5-4
Los Angeles got a terrific game from second baseman Harvey Katzen. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Milwaukee, 5-4. Katzen was 5 for 5 with a double and 4 singles. The Blockbusters fall to 9-12 and continue their sputtering start to the 1972 season.

The decisive blow was delivered by Gary Branan in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Joe Hamby to win the game for Milwaukee. The home crowd went nuts.

Said Branan: "What's not to like about a walk-off win?"
